Independent, The (London) - US rejects calls for ban on Crestor
THE US Food and Drug Administration has rejected calls by the consumer group Public Citizen for a ban on Crestor, AstraZeneca’s cholesterol treatment, which the FDA has said is no more risky than other statins. Separately, AstraZeneca is promoting David Brennan, its head in North America, to the board, pushing him into the running for the CEO post.
